Bluehour has been a mainstay in the Pearl restaurant scene for awhile now. I first ventured here when I was on a huge “Moscow Mule” kick. They have a big deck and I frequented the happy hour in the summer just to have their version of the Mule.
I had heard rumors of a good burger and such, but never really ventured inside, literally.
I got an invite from my favorite LGP team for a dinner at Bluehour. I was happy to join in the fun and actually step inside the restaurant.
The premise for this dinner was slightly different than the other events I have attended, we got to partake in the festivities and make some of the cocktails. How stunning is this serve ware??!?
They had it all set up for us. Our lesson began…
Kelsey was a pro!
Then dinner began.
I will admit the food was great! Yet, I remain strong in my faith that the best part about this place are the cocktails. I think the bar program here has classic with a modern twist. I love all the creations. When I was thinking back about this dinner, my first thoughts were to the stunning cocktails and great conversation. If you stop in try the Doc Holladay. It’s one of my new favorites in Portland.
Thanks again to the ladies of LGP, my fellow bloggers, and Bluehour. Your hospitality and company was excellent. I will be back to Bluehour again, maybe for a tried and true Moscow Mule.
What can I say, old habits die hard.
Love,
Rachel xo

Love Bluehour! Have not had a full dinner there – just HH and sitting at the bar. Great (appetite-inspiring) pics, and thanks for sharing 🙂 Yum.

I'm going to have to round up my girlfriends and get to Blue Hour sometime soon! I haven't been in AGES and my husband, well, let's just say this isn't his kind of place. Sigh!

I'm with you: their cocktails are fabulous! My friends and I used to go there all the time when I worked in the Pearl. Dangerous 🙂

I recently visited this place to attend an event, and was really blown away. It was a great job by the training staff at Las Vegas restaurants for being so pleasant throughout the night.
