I am not a huge fan of New Years resolutions, as I think you always be trying to better yourself. I do love a clean slate. Nothing like a new year to start out on the right foot. I have a couple small resolutions I wanted to share!
1. Live Healthy
How cliche is this? I feel like this is probably the most over used resolution on earth. That said, its still on my list. The past year I really lost touch with working out regularly and eating right. I want to get back on a path that fits my lifestyle. I am not doing any cleanse or detox, but I want to be more aware about what I put in my body and how active I am. I am using the app My Fitness Pal, to help track my progress. I’ve used this app before and swear by it! Let me know if you have used it as well! I will keep you posted!
2. Dedicate Time to Hobbies
If you follow me on Instagram, you have seen I started taking a calligraphy class. It’s an online class called “I Still Love Calligraphy.” I am absolutely loving it. I will be posting several posts on my overall review and progress- so watch for those. I am really inspired by other calligraphers out there and want to get better!
3. Practice Patience
As life gets more stressful, I find my patience is less and less. I need more instant gratification and get upset quickly if I don’t. I know patience is something I can work on and will help me in a lot of aspects of my life.
4. Be Spontaneous
I am a big planner. I like to have everything mapped out and prepared beforehand. I want to try to do things on a whim. Send letters, packages and reminders to those I love. Take day trips to places I’ve never been. I miss that sense of adventure and thrill. Time to get that back.
For now, those are my goals for 2015. I like having a short list, because you can really focus on those items. It will help me be more successful in each area.
So here’s to you and me on a new chapter. 2015 I’m ready to jump right in!

Great resolutions! I'm always a fan of keeping the list short and sweet and not very specific. I find that opens it up to more possibilities!
Happy New Year! So bummed I'm sick and wasn't able to make it to Erin's last night. Hopefully I'll see you soon!

A very nice list! I think understanding the why and ultimate goal of a resolution results in more long lasting results than a more flat goal!
Cheers to a new year!

Great resolutions! I can't say I did much in the way of resolutions this year…I set a few for my reading and my blog, but that was about it.

Great list! It will be interesting for you to look back in 6 months or a year and see how you felt at this time!
And I agree, acting with intention is so important!

Those are realistic and broad goals. Man, that patience thing, though…I hear ya.

Loving this list. I totally agree with all of this. Although I am terrible at spontaneity. Never had that one. But I like the idea! So glad we got to ring in the new year together!
