I feel like I’m cheating you a little, this isn’t really a restaurant review as much as a quick chat about a day I spent at a restaurant…does that make any sense?
I remember this day very well, it was a day I was looking forward too, and a day long overdue. Three of my closest friends decided to spend the day today lunching and walking around the Pearl District. We ended up at the Paragon for lunch. This is a tried and true favorite in the Pearl. It’s a beautiful space with a fresh and local menu (we all ordered the grilled cheese! + calamari. SO good). We got a beautiful table in the back by the fireplace. We were so content, we sat there for hours. Talking about life, relationships, our families and we even did a little “dating” on something that rhymes with “cinder.”
The weather was a little wild, as you will see with the lighting in these photos. I’d like to say it challenged me a little. (ha.)
Regardless of the weather, days like these make my heart feel full. Have you had any days like this lately? I hope so.

Enjoy your Thursday friends!

You captured the day wonderfully- it looks relaxed and beautiful, and the various shadows make for interesting composition. Being able to sit for hours in a restaurant just talking and talking sounds like the best day

I prefer this approach to a regular restaurant review . . . So, kudos!

Looks great!
Photo tip–if you size all your photos to the same width (Blogger XL for horizontal is 640px wide, so you can export the vertical ones to 640×960, and the horizontal ones will be 640×420 or something) the will be much easier for the eye to scroll through! Also they make a bigger impact when there's only one shot of each thing, or they're alternated.

I've had my eyes on this place for a while! That calamari just made my mouth water and it's barely 7am…
