i have lived in portland for almost 20 years, and i never knew what lied just beyond its borders…
today claire, kiki, and i embarked on a sunday adventure to oregon wine country. needless to say we are all kicking ourselves that we hadn’t done it sooner. we had some good advice from my mom and dave about what the best places were to try, and also some places picked out of our own.
our first stop was annie amie vineyard …. the view was breathtaking…
in my opinion they also had my favorite wine of the day… but im more of a white drinker than red
then we headed off to the domain drouhin vineyard which had the best wine according to claire and kiki… it was also amazingly beautiful
then we were getting a little hungry and after asking staff at both the vineyards they suggested a place in dundee called farm to fork… if you are ever in the area this is a place i highly recommend going. the food was brilliant.
then to top off our day we stopped at erath vineyard on the way back to portland. the place was, of course, lovely… and the wine wasn’t too bad either! all around it was a fantastic day. in fact probably one of the best i’ve had in a long time. i recommed going wine tasting on the next nice day! we might see you there! thanks to claire and kiki for being part of my wonderful day 🙂 love you girls too much
love, only the curious have something to find xx
