Happy Monday Everyone!
Although, I’m not excited it’s Monday, I am excited to share this recipe with you. Here is the story. My mom, Julie has a food blog and is a great cook. She shared a crab & artichoke recipe with me last year around Thanksgiving. I tried it for a party and Drew went nuts over it. Now is has been dubbed “heavenly crab dip.” This weekend the weather was a little wet, so I decided to make the dip. Drew was overjoyed. Since he loves it SO much. I thought I’d share. Careful- It’s addicting.
I’ve made a couple changes from my mom’s original recipe. I will show you below where I’ve made changes and what the original is. You can decide for yourself! Both ways turn out fantastic.
Here are the ingredients:
First, spray the baking pan
Combine all the ingredients except the cheese!
Lots of garlic and Old Bay seasonings!
Then add it to the baking pan and sprinkle the cheese over the top. I’ve learned you should get really good parmesan for this. You need the good stuff here. Then add more Old Bay on top too! I usually put some cracked pepper on there as well.
You can serve with bread, but I saw these in the store and thought it’d be good!
Drew could hardly wait to try!
“Stop taking photos so I can eat!”
Heaven.
Got to watch your back. Winston loves crab.
Great with wine, but what isn’t?
Ingredients
12 oz of artichokes drained and rinsed (I use marinated and add some juice)
