With graduation festivities over from day 1+ 2
Drew and I checked out of San Jose and headed west.
But first, bagels! It has sort of turned into this funny thing that Drew and I always get bagels on the weekends we spend together- so we had to stick to tradition.
We rented a convertible for this trip (ha it was necessary). When I was little my dad used to always drive us down PCH (Pacific Coast Highway 1). It has a very special place in my heart. I really wanted to show Drew some of the places I love. Once we got to the ocean in Monterey, we headed south along Route 1 along Big Sur. If you haven’t ever been there, seriously it’s a must. It is quite possibly the most beautiful scenery on earth.
Then Drew and I headed back to the famous 17- Mile Drive around the Monterey peninsula. 17-Mile Drive is widely recognized as one of the most scenic drives in the world. The famous coastal landmark runs through Pacific Grove to Pebble Beach, from the dramatic Pacific coastline to the majestic Del Monte Forest. This was amazing!
Convertible = Easy photo access!
Because this day/post has SO Many photos. I will save our dinner for another post! Those pics are my favorite from the trip! Stay tuned.
Love, Rachel xo
