I was recently speaking to a good friend about how much I love a nice hotel. There is something about luxury hospitality that I adore. The feeling of a beautiful hotel room, running your fingers over it’s luxe finishes, and hopping into a oversized bed with someone you love. It’s truly one of my favorite things.
When the Marriott approached me for a potential collaboration- I was excited at the opportunity. Truthfully, my parents have been staying at the Waterfront Marriott for years. It’s there go-to when visiting Portland. They love the central location and beautiful views.
Recently, the Waterfront Marriott did a major renovation and it truly paid off. From the moment we walked in it felt clean, inviting and buzzing. The location of this hotel makes it a great place for visitors to call home while exploring the city of roses. Our room was filled with very “Portland” centric decor. It was modern yet felt warm at the same time. And our view! Wait until you see the photos. It was dreamy.
The staff was also splendid. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was exceptional. We were always met with a smiling face and the reassurance that anything they could do to make our stay better, was no problem at all. They even sent D a birthday card, because I had mentioned his birthday had just passed.
I highly recommend a stay at the Waterfront Marriott. Whether it’s a mini staycation for yourself, or feeling good about where your out-of-town guests stay, The Marriott is your place. I'm a big fan of the Marriott as well- I love their comfy beds and F loves that he can ask for a foam pillow. Their location right by the waterfront is great for so many events during the summer and easy access to both sides of the city!
