things are about to change for me. i got a new job, which i am very excited for.
i’m ready to embrace a big change.
change is an interesting thing. in thinking about the people in my life-
some despise change. they want rountine and consistency.
yet others thrive on change and have become addicted to adaptation to change.
where do i stand? in my own opinion i like change. i think i can learn to adapt to many situtations. i like to get into a routine and then after awhile add some change to make things unique. i’m excited at what lies ahead of me. also nervous about leaving something safe and comfortable behind. but i gonna take a risk.
this is a poem that i have loved forever. that helps me in times of big change:
two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
