shine

good morning friends

this week i have been on quite the roller coaster. it’s one really great moment, followed by terrible news. can i get off this ride??

with that said- the great moments have been really, realllllly great. i love, in life- when it feels like bad things are pouring down like rain- yet you still find yourself with a smile on your face when you lay you head down for the night. 

it is a testament to those around me. this week they have been holding me together. keeping my pieces from breaking apart. thank you for making me smile. 

most people might not know that i am a volleyball coach. our team has been practicing since early December. after each practice we have a quick huddle and do a cheer before leaving the gym. i usually let the girls choose what we say. 
yesterday, after in my mind was a very hard practice- we got in the middle for the practice ending ritual. we put our hands in and i said the usual “what are we saying?” and many girls simultaneously said “most fun practice so far.” couldn’t help but get a huge smile on my face. 

it’s. always. the little things.
