I like these “on my mind” posts. They give me an excuse to treat this as more of a reflection space versus information. We all need a little time to think now and then.
Today my heart is full for a couple reasons.
I am missing my friends. I got spoiled during the holidays having them around. I miss my old friends, my new friends, my crazy ones and responsible ones. Life is better with good company.
In the past year I also found a best friend. I can’t imagine my life without him in it. He has taught me about compromise, being truly happy, and being comfortable in my own skin. I know it’s corny, but it is true. He is one of a kind. I am so lucky to have him.
We all have good and bad days. On my bad days I try to remember how lucky I am to have these people in my life. When I call and complain they listen. (then tell me to suck it up)
Life is hard, but company makes it a little less difficult.
