I love a restaurant with a great patio. I think sitting outside with friends & loved ones is one of my favorite things. D and I recently went up to Seattle to see some of our close friends. Seattle is such a fun town to explore. It’s so much bigger than Portland and there are always new things to explore. Seattle is a great place to explore for a weekend. 3 days is almost a perfect amount of time to spend! Rain or shine, we always seem to have a blast. With Seattle being about 3 hours away- it’s easy to get there by car, bus or train. My friends Lew & Michelle are also a bit foodie, so when we visit- they have the best places in mind to take us!
The Innkeeper Seattle
The group really wanted to a restaurant bar within walking distance of Queen Anne and one with a great patio. We ended up at The Innkeeper in Seattle. The Innkeeper describes itself as “Bar food with a Latin soul for discriminating swashbucklers.” I also really loved their bar program. I went with the Moscow Mule- lovely. I will admit the service was a bit “off” the day we visited, but on the bright side, it meant we could sit on the patio and catch up. The food is a mix of Latin fusion. I really enjoyed my menu pick- chorizo burrito. Our crew took a mini-lesson in the “golden hour” on the patio, and the pictures are some of my favorites from the trip.
The patio at The Innkeeper is only open in the Spring/Summer. I would choose this place, almost entirely for the patio. It’s a tiny sanctuary in the city. If you are sitting inside, this place is the perfect place to pop-in for a drink. Let me know if you give this place a try!

Looks like a fun spot! We go to Seattle often and will have to check this spot out!
Awesome! Let me know what you think!
Patio dining and drinking is pretty much the best. I stay in Queen Anne often for work, so I’ll have to check this place out next spring!
Yes! Let me know what you think
I’ll miss patio weather – a Moscow Mule and just casually hanging with friends sounds like a perfect way to wind down
I love all of your pictures! I’ve only visited Seattle once since I’ve lived in Portland the last two years which is a shame! This place looks like such a fun spot.
I’m with you, patios are the BEST! Luckily looks like this weekend is still a good one for patio dining. I’m going to live it up!
Will keep this in mind – my sis lives in Seattle and we visit often. Looks great!
The outdoor space looks really cute! I will definitely have to check that place out next time I’m in Seattle and the weather is nice 🙂 xo, Brittany http://www.theblistblog.com
Oh my goodness that burrito looks to die for!!!!! I’m from Vancouver, Canada and drive down to Seattle all the time so I’ll definitely have to hit this place up the next time I’m there!!
Great photos – and I love that mosaic table! What a nice background for the photos. That burrito also looks really good.
