as my best friend claire would gladly agree, i have a sharp memory. and it is one of my favorite things about myself. not to sound like i’m this amazing person or anything, but i pride myself on being able to remember events well. now only if i could choose a little more selectively the memories i remember the best i could probably make some money off this brain of mine.
like for instance… something most people don’t know… when i was little i checked the dog encyclopedia so many times… i now can pick out dog breeds off the street like it was a color in a rainbow. haha
i can also remember random moments in history.. that have had little, to no effect on my life…but i remember them like they were a wedding or graduation…. for instance…
when we played club volleyball and nicole asked our coach why she wasn’t wearing her engagement ring one day.. and she started to cry and said “we just called it off today” hahahah great timing… and a bad thing to remember but i do!
anyway i was thinking about my memory when i listen to music… it is a bittersweet blessing because there are some songs i REALLY like… but just remind me of a bad event. so i dont listen to them.
then there are also.. not so good songs…that i really like because they remind me of great memories or people…
here are some of my great song and the things they remind me of.

achel,
I think you could just call me love, rachel's blog.
but seriously, I totally agree with you, these small moments of memory make up the fabric (if you will) of our lives. without it, we are empty. especially with music, which I have always thought of as a "soundtrack" of everything we do.
overall, love the blog, and honestly, you were a direct inspiration to starting my new blog. keep it up, you're an incredible writer.
