day two has been a long time coming. it was the first time i’ve ever set out on an adventure…by myself.
now i know its london, and i know ive been here before, but regardless spending a day in a foreign country to explore as you please has always been something i wanted to do. and it was pretty great.
so let me say this first off. the city is overflowing with people for the olympics. i chatted with some volunteers today. they said at any one point there are 7-10 million additional people in the city. yeaaaaaaaah. so i say i spent the day by myself but i was shoulder to shoulder with someone almost all day.
its amazing to see all the fans, all the pride, all the smiles. everyone is just so happy to be in london supporting teams and people they love.
tooled around my favorite london must sees…tower bridge, harrods, parliament, hyde park, chelsea, and trafalgar square. all decorated in great britain pride.
then made my way back to putney for a wonderful dinner with mike along the river.
feeling so lucky. grateful and happy.
can i stay forever?…
love, in love with london xo
