it’s always interesting to spend time with old friends. i hadn’t spent time with my friend stevie in quite awhile. he is one of those people for me- where when you do finally get back together- its like you never missed a beat.
one of my favorite things about great friends, is they love you unconditionally for who you are. stevie and i had many, many conversations this weekend about our lives, how we’ve changed, where we see ourselves going in the future. it is nice to have someone who will believe in me and believe in my dreams. makes me feel really grateful that i have so many of these great friends in my life. gives me the courage to chase those dreams.
one thing stevie and i talked about was our priorities.
sometimes it is very eye opening to reflect on what is truly important to me. who is important to me.
i get really wrapped up in things sometimes and forget to keep those things in my heart.
i forget to make people who are my priorities feel it.
i make the mistake of making people or things who don’t matter a priority.
after this weekend i feel back on track with my priorities.
you only get to ride this ride once, and i want to make it the best ride of my life.
love, having time to think xxo
