If you read about day 2 in Houston you will know we woke up feeling very under the weather on Sunday. Poor Karla had to wake up and fly home at the crack of dawn…which didn’t go too well.
Judy slept until 1pm, so I finally woke her up and we slowly started our day.
Judy had wanted to take me to a pizza place. She knows I loooooove pizza. I was all for it. So we hopped in the car and took off towards Bar Boheme.
Judy knocked it out of the park with this choice. This food was SO FREAKING good.
We started with…water of course- Then VIETNAMESE FRIES. Get out of town. These were so amazing. Fries- drizzled in hoisin sauce, sriracha, garlic mayo, cilantro, and crushed peanuts.
Then came the pizzas! We ordered two- Truffle Mushroom and Lobster-rita. RIDICULOUS!
Truffle Mushroom- red sauce, a ton of oyster mushrooms, mozz, garlic, truffle salt, rosemary, truffle oil
Lobster-rita- roasted tomato, basil, mozz, parm, truffle oil, black pepper, lobster, pink Himalayan salt, garlic
SERIOUSLY so good.
After feeling completely left out of the weekend Ammo (Judy’s dog) deserved a walk in park. So we picked him up and headed to Herman Park. It was beautiful!
All in all Houston was a great trip- probably not a city I’d ever visit again…but I’d go just about anywhere for my friends. This trip helped refresh and refocus. On to bigger and better things. So grateful for any time I get to spend with Karla and Judy. Love you to the moon and back.
Until next time ladies!
Love, Rachel
