This post is a little overdue. I was invited to the Without Walls Launch Party at Urban Outfitters at the beginning of April.
Without Walls is a collective clothing brand. They feature both men’s and women’s active apparel. They had everything from yoga to surfing to extreme climbing gear. Most of this can be found at exclusive Urban Outfitters locations- or online here. The clothes were amazing. Colors, patterns, cuts I had never seen before.
The launch party was awesome. They had a ton of people explaining all about the brands and ideas behind the collective brand experience. They had a whole set up with a goldsprints competition, live art by Gage Hamilton, grilled Voodoo Doughnut snacks, music by DJ Nature, and free brews from Goodlife Brewing and juice from Portland Juice Co. It was quite a night. I cruised around and looked at all the awesome brands including some cool brand stories as well. Each section has a story to tell about the artist/designer that created it and why. Pretty neat.
The tags also tell what the piece is used for and the technology it has.
Overall, I loved all the pieces. Head to the NW Urban Outfitters (2320 N.W. Westover Rd. Portland, OR 97210-3533) location to check it out for yourself!
