As you may know, D set up a trip to Vegas to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Work has been stressful and a vacation with D was just what I needed. We left Portland Thursday and headed to the City of Lights. We checked in at Mandalay Bay which is SO fantastic. Our room was great and everything we experienced in and around the hotel was on point. Definitely, my go-to place to stay on the strip.
Friday morning we woke up and headed downstairs for some breakfast. Then we got our first drink of the day and headed to the pool! I can’t believe how happy being in the sun makes me. It was perfect to just sit with D and relax for the day. Later that night, we headed downstairs to the Cirque de Soleil show playing in Mandalay Bay, Michael Jackson ONE. OMGOSH. FANTASTIC. The show was incredible. I was blown away by the talent, dancers, lighting and effects. D clearly was super excited too 🙂

Aaaah the shark tank at Mandalay is DEFINITELY on my list the next time I'm in Vegas!
