If you haven’t read Part 1, D and I took a weekend trip to Las Vegas….
Day two was filled with a little more pool action. We had to soak in as much sun as possible! We were seriously loving the Shwood glasses from my Vacation Essentials post. D and I both wore them. Such a great accessory. Fun fact, some of D’s family live outside of Las Vegas. They came to meet us and we walked through the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. Another reason why Mandalay Bay is the best! The exhibit was amazing. You walk through several twists and turns of creatures from the ocean and then the finale, the shark tank. So awesome!
Finally we strolled the strip played some blackjack and had a couple drinks before bed. Stay tuned tomorrow for a post filled with my favorite places we ate in Vegas!

Great pics! I'm so jealous that you got some pool action while you were there. Our hotel pool was closed when we went because they were prepping it for the winter ice rink – boo 🙁 Looks like you had a fun time!
We called ahead, there are only 4-5 hotels that keep a pool open year round. It was a must have!

We chose a hotel that had a pool open! Only Mandalay and Paris did! So that made our choice easy!
Looks like fun. I could go to Las Vegas and never step into a casino, and would return home very happy. Stayed at THEHotel before it changed names, and hung around the pool at Mandalay Bay all day, having slushy drinks that were half pina colada and half rumrunner. The burgers with truffle fries at the pool food stand were outrageously delicious.
