I don’t know about you, but when the holidays come around I want to make every recipe that my eyes come across. I saw this recipe on Food Network’s show Pioneer Women. (she’s the bomb)
I thought this would be perfect to take to a holiday party I am attending tonight. You need only 4 ingredients (my kinda recipe)
Set your oven to 325F
Then you have to unwrap the caramel candies *side eye*
Then line your baking sheet with foil/parchment paper and line up the pretzels!
Then place the caramels on top of each pretzel.
Then put into the oven for about 4-5 minutes. You just want the caramels to get a little soft not melt completely. They should look like this when ready…
Next take them out of the oven and start pushing your pecan halves into the caramel while they are still hot
Next take off the baking sheet and set aside to cool.
Now to melt the chocolate. I just put chips in the microwave for a minute at a time and stirred until melted.
Once caramels have cooled and chocolate is melted, line your baking sheet again with foil. Dollop half a tablespoon of chocolate and place the pretzel over the chocolate.
Now let them cool!!!
I added a little extra melted chocolate on top of some of them.
They turned out amazing!
Now off to the party!
Here is the recipe again in case you were distracted by the pictures!
- Whole Mini-pretzel Twists
- Whole Individually Wrapped Caramel Squares, Unwrapped
- Chocolate chips for melting
- Pecan Halves
