Who to Follow: Twitter #2

Started a series on the blog called “Who to Follow.” I have done beauty/youtubers and instagram and now let’s get some twitter followers on here! 

For me there needs to be a delicate balance to make a solid twitter account to follow. I need some humor, satisfying information and some worthy links. I have rounded up a couple you need to check out. 

Eat This Not That- @eatthisnotthat

I like this handle because I do eat out on a regular occasion- this account gives you the ‘should-haves’ & ‘should-have-nots’ so to speak. I appreciate knowing health and nutrition facts from popular food brands as well. 

Lindsay Strannigan- @rosemarried

To be honest,  I’m not totally sure how Lindsay and I found each other on twitter. But she has quickly become one of my favorites. She is witty and makes me laugh (key to good tweets). She also is from Portland, so gives useful info about local businesses and events. Her blog is also great. You need to check it out! 

Ellen DeGeneres- @TheEllenShow 

This amazing lady needs no introduction. I am obsessed with Ellen. She is one of the funniest people on planet earth. If you aren’t following her in some way shape or form, do us all a favor and get on this bandwagon. 

HuffPost Food- @huffpostfood

Apparently I’m thinking about food lately. Probably why my pants are a little tighter this holiday season, but regardless Huffington Post is a good source for pop culture news stories. The food section is no different. Lots of info on what major food brands, restaurant chains, and chefs in the industry are doing. I find myself clicking on these links the most on my timeline. 

Karen Locke- @karenvlocke

Karen is my go-to girl for all things Portland. Obviously if you don’t live in Portland that could hinder your necessity to follow her. She is a great writer and clever tweeter as well. I think anyone could benefit from her timeline. Check out her website, she is involved in quite an array of awesome activities (drink_portland) . (sidebar: awesome photos as well)
