Blogger Swap: Hunt and Harvest

Blogger Swap: Hunt and Harvest

Today is an exciting day! I get to show you my first blogger swap.

What is a blogger swap you might be thinking? You connect with a fellow blogger and decide on a price point, and possible a theme, and then send each other a box of goodies. You can share your gifts on your blog, social media, etc. It’s a good way to let your readers know about other bloggers you enjoy as well.

I can’t even remember now how I stumbled across Olivia’s blog: Hunt and Harvest.   It might have started with Instagram. Her account is amazing! I love her photos. I may be a bit bias because she has a cool cat as well! I had been following Olivia for quite some time. I love her style and sense of humor- so when my blogger swap idea popped into my head – I reached out to her.

We agreed on a box of some of our favorite things and a price point of around $50. I am going to share my goodies and Olivia’s descriptions for why she sent them (because they are hilarious):

Here is the card! Purrrrfect!

Catbird “cat” bracelet. This is ironic. I was JUST talking about Catbird because Kelsey showed me the website- and I loved it. Then this shows up in the box. It’s fate!

Olivia’s note: “Cats, duh.”

POCKY! This is an amazing choice. I loveeeee pocky.

Olivia’s note: “The original, the gateway”

Benefit’s “Bene Balm.” I have tried a couple face products from Benefit, but never a lip product. I am excited to try this. The packaging is so cute. I love it.

Olivia’s note: “One time I had this horrible fever at the airport & bought this out of the vending machine. Best “decision I don’t remember making” ever. “

Haribo Roulette. These are gummies that are in the shape of little disks. I already ate these…so good!

Olivia’s note: “Desk candy, yes! “

Daelman’s Original Caramel Wafer. I haven’t ever tried this, but I think I have tried something similar from friend’s who visited The Netherlands. I can’t wait to try!

Olivia’s note: “Strongly recommend letting it melt a lil over a cup of coffee.”

Catbird Tote! How awesome is this bag? I love it.

Olivia’s note: “This lil tote makes lunches next-level too”

What fun! I'm doing a book blogger swap this month and I can't wait to see what arrives at my doorstep and what the recipient of my gift thinks of my Portland-themed (well, Powells) gift!

Such a fun idea. I always like the idea of doing something similar to this… but, I've discovered I am TERRIBLE at mail. Like, SO bad.
