I am seeing a lot of “Christmas Wishlist” posts going around. I wanted to jump on the band wagon. I hope you won’t mind. These are some times, I wish and wished (haha aka. caved and bought myself) for. If you need some ideas for the ones you love this season, this list can also help!
1. Sorel Boots- $195
I love Sorel’s. Living in Portland, OR you need a pair of utility boots that can handle cold, rain, and sometimes snow. These are so cute, yet stylish. I love the print on the inner lining. I own a pair of Sorel’s and trust me, they will keep your feet looking great and feeling good.
2. Zara Coat- $279
Zara is one of my favorite clothing brands, unfortunately they don’t have a store in Portland, OR. I find myself cruising around on their website often. This coat is to die for! I have been looking for a camel long coat for awhile now and this might be the perfect one. If the price tag is a little high for you here and here are similar for less money.
3. C Wonder Stag Bottle Opener- $28
Sometimes getting a novelty gift is one of my favorite things. I love when people find something that is “me” I never thought to buy! If you have been to my house, you know I have a bar cart and this could fit perfect. It looks like this specific item is sold out, but C Wonder has a website FILLED with items just like this to pick out for your loved one. (Also everything is still 30% off!)
4. Wayfair.com Artificial Succulent Garden – $94
If you watch any HGTV, you will have seen commercials for Wayfair.com. They have SO many items for your household (think HomeGoods.) It’s a great way to find the perfect gift for someone who just moved into a new place, or is big into interior designs. Succulents are trendy in Portland right now, so this caught my eye. I know succulents are almost impossible to kill, I still have a great chance of doing so. I opted for an artificial one. Great addition!
5. Pottery Barn Faux Fur Throw- Now only $99!
Here is a little story for you. Growing up my friend’s mom always had these blankets around the house and I was obsessed with them. The price always deterred me from buying one at Pottery Barn, so I bought alternatives and they never lived up. I received a Pottery Barn gift card for my birthday and I marched right in and bought the oversized throw in Grey Ombre. I AM IN LOVE. These blankets are amazing. They also look so luxurious when laid out over your bed or couch.
6. Nyx Matte Lipstick- $6
Matte lip sticks are all the rage at the moment. I wasn’t really on board until I tried these. I love the way they give a more muted look to your lips. (Depending on your shade choice…) There are some matte formulas that leave a drying feel to the lips, but not these ones! Nyx lippies would be a great stocking stuffer or something to go along with a gift card. You can buy them at most Targets, drugstores and Ulta stores. Or on their website.
7. J.Crew Shearling Scuffs (Slippers) – $45
Slippers are a classic Christmas gift. Who doesn’t love a good pair? The pattern on these is perfect for the season! J.Crew is a good quality brand that will last! These slippers also have a rubber sole for making the trek to get the paper in the morning as well! I am loving these.
8. J. Crew Glacier Necklace – $125
Statement necklaces are here to stay. Coming from someone who usually dresses quite casual, these pieces can help dress up my outfit. J. Crew jewelry is a little on the high end, but I think they make the best ones! I love the quality and designs they offer. This piece is no exception. I think I need this one!
Hope you liked the picks! Stay tuned for a Portlandia Gift Guide coming this week as well.
