There isn’t much that makes me smile like fresh flowers. There is something about them that makes your heart melt. Kristi and I like to have fresh flowers around the house. It pulls everything together so nicely and adds that touch of freshness to the space.
There are TONS of online companies to send flowers. But let’s be honest, some of them leave me feeling like the quality or tastefulness might be lacking. Then, I am nervous until the recipient finally says, “the flowers are pretty!” I came across this company called The Bouqs Co. They are another flower delivery service, but with a couple small differences that I really loved.
1. The Choices
Sometimes you jump on to those flower sites and there are 154 pages of flowers to send to your mom for Mother’s Day and you are so overwhelmed.
The Bouqs Co has just the right amount so you still have options, but you aren’t sifting through the weeds (pun intended!) to find something you love.
Here are some on the site right now!
The Marshmallow
The XOXO
The Milkshake
Aren’t they beautiful?
The Bouqs Co is a sustainable, and eco-friendly flower sourcing company. The flowers actually come from a volcano. (yep, you read that right!)
From The Bouqs Co website,
“We cut only what we sell. Other providers source from a supply chain that sees 1 in 3 stems wasted. Across hundreds of thousands of bouquets a year, that’s a lot of wasted land, resources, labor and fuel. We cut only when you order, so we avoid the waste.
We also save energy through our direct-from-the-farm supply chain. The standard supply chain must keep stems cold for up to 2 weeks, meaning hundreds of hours of refrigeration and the associated energy use. We use cold storage for only 4 days from the Volcano, and not at all from California, resulting in a lot of energy savings.
Finally, our farms provide living wages, childcare, healthcare and adult education. And our growing business supports farm communities, so you can feel good about shopping The Bouqs Company’s flowers.”
I have never seen (although, it may exist) a service like this before. The Bouqs Co. lets you customize a calendar to send flowers regularly, on a certain date aka. Birthday, anniversary etc. and you get a discount for scheduling it regularly.
They also post real life photos of customers who have received flowers. Under each product description it shows the company photos and also customer photos- which helps see exactly what you are getting. I really loved this feature. It helped me pick my order.
Here is my first order:
I chose the XOXO. 1. because of Gossip Girl and 2. because I like signing off that haha, logical.
I didn’t get a card addressed to myself, but this was taped into the inside of the box.
After reading the instructions above, here is how it turned out!
All girls love flowers, even Miss Winston. She was getting rather protective of these flowers ha! Although, this is her bird watching chair.
Overall, I was really happy with the flowers and think I will be signing up to get them on a regular basis. It’s so quick and easy. They are so beautiful!
Check out The Bouqs Co. and use them next time you are in need of fresh flowers. I don’t think you will be disappointed 🙂
Love, Rachel xo
I hate ordering flowers from giant companies, so thanks for the suggestion of this smaller boutique-y delivery service. I'll definitely check them out next time I need to send flowers.
You really should. The options are all what is in season, not just any flowers you want. So you know they are fresh!
This is fantastic!!!
Better get yourself some!
Winston loves that modeling gig 🙂

This company sounds amazing, the flowers are stunning and I love that they are a sustainable company, which can be surprisingly hard to find when it comes to flowers.
Also, your kitty is SO cute, I had two himalayans growing up and they're the best 🙂

Thanks!!! She is such a ham when it comes to the camera! She loves attention.
Just looked through your blog! I love it, you have great style. Excited to start following along.

<3 Winston <3 I am copying this link to strongly hint to F now… for flowers, not for a cat. The bouquets are beautiful and I appreciate how they are eco friendly, sustainable, and seasonal and seem so charming!
Ha I know, she is a camera hog! I love the options they have. Although, it does make it hard to choose. It would be nice to get them regularly and not have to think about it. Makes the house look nice and seasonal decor as well if they flowers change with the seasons.
Love these flowers!! After following the 1-800 flowers debacle on social this Valentine's Day, I've been so nervous to ever order flowers via internet. These look so beautiful! Blair and Serena would totally be on board.
you know you love me, xoxo gossip girl.
I do love fresh flowers and Gossip Girl! They are beautiful good choice!
Winston looks so big! And I've heard great things about this company, I love that their site is more curated and the bouqets are more sophisticated – glad you liked them!

So pretty!! I love the Marshmallow one. I also of course love the photos of Winston next to the flowers 🙂
Rachel, you have such a wonderful way of making the world around you so beautiful, and this is just another example. Thank you for introducing us to this company – I love that Milkshake bouquet.
