Review: Portland Center Stage’s Dreamgirls

Review: Portland Center Stage’s Dreamgirls

Sorry for the light blogging lately! It’s been a busy couple days + there are some change coming to Love, Rachel (!!!) so I’ve been working closely with the one and only Bobbi from Ready to Blog so stay tuned.

One I couldn’t hold back was, my trip to Portland Center Stage last week to see Dreamgirls. As you might know if you’ve been reading for awhile, I love PCS. I’ve gone to Othello, Lizzie and interviewed one of the leads from a play here on the blog. I think the theater is the perfect night out. PCS is stunning with it’s sparkling ceiling and intimate stage. There really isn’t a bad seat in the house. Dreamgirls was no exception. I am going to say it, this was the best show I’ve seen at PCS…by far. The talent was UNREAL. I was so blown away by the voices on the stage. I caught myself with the biggest smile on my face for the whole show. I also took D to the show, and he loved it too! We were both so impressed by it all. You need to see this show. It’s perfect for a girls night out, date night, or special occasion. Lucky for you I have a discount code for you too! See the bottom of the post for more details…

Here are some of the production photos from the show.

This sounds like a fabulous show, and I really want to support PCS because they have awesome shows all year long and it's such an easy affordable date night!

I've never seen this particular musical….maybe I can convince my husband to take me out for a date night to see it!
